Newquay based recruitment agency, Aztec Recruitment have teamed up with the Joe Way Appeal and from the 24^th of November Aztec’s Recruitment Consultants will be stepping into their temps shoes for a day at businesses across the county to help raise cash for this very worth while charity.

Aztec plan to run a 3 month long campaign to help maximise the money they can raise for the appeal. It was set up in memory of Joe Way who is the inspirational little boy who passed away in May and has touched people's lives around the country and beyond.  His website, www.joeway.co.uk has been set up to tell his story, raise awareness of his conditions, and to help raise money for Children's Hospice South West's Precious Lives Appeal to build a children's hospice in Cornwall.

We are looking for YOU to blog ideas, busineeses to get involved, feedback from the company who had you as a "temp for the day" and you the "STAR TEMP" to tell us about your day.

We are looking at new ways to get Joes website out in the public eye.

We have so far put banners at local beaches, on the main road into Newquay, car stickers, banner on a ship wreck out to sea, big stickers on a fishing boat, surf board stickers, stand up marketing banners and have been at local events. We have also sponsored Louie Mavor by providing a surfboard (one of Matts old ones called "The Pig").

Louie came third in a local Schools competition which was his first event, the board has a big Joe Way sticker on it which makes him our first team rider, look out for Louie who is a St Agnas lad...

www.joeway.co.uk joins forces with children in need and Newquay Lions for fundraising event. The charity night will feature a Casino, Jazz music, Auctions, raffle as well as door prizes and a fantastic VIP buffet.

The event is on Friday, 14 November 2008 at 7:30pm until late and the Venue is The Glendorgal Resort and Spa. The proceeds will be split between Children in need, Newquay Lions and the Joe Way Appeal for Precious Lives.
