Pete Hutton from Newquay has helped the Joe Way story by taking his global banner to Lake Louise, Alberta, in Canada. The Olympic Games start this month and Pete managed to get a photo with the owner of Lake Louise, Charlie Locke holding the Olympic torch.

Charlie had just carried the torch into the resort of Lake Louise on its journey to Vancouver for this months winter Olympics, he was very interested in Joe’s story & kindly agreed to the photo proudly holding the Olympic torch.

Charlie Locke owner of the resort said “I was more than happy to help and was amazed by this little boys story”.

Matt Way Joe’s Dad said “This trip takes the distance that Joe’s banner has travelled to 190,000km and people have been so generous with their time. His story has inspired so many people so its great to see his banner with such an iconic image, Joe’s banner is heading to South Africa and Egypt next”.

Over £75,000.00 has been raised during Joe’s short life and over the 19 months since he passed away with £59,000.00 going to the Precious Lives Appeal.
