Clic topless tour rally

Team Joe Way supported the CLIC Sargent soft top rally 2009 in memory of Harriet Cole which started at Hendra Holiday Park where Joe’s Dad works.

As always we thought of unusual way to take part by asking for the help of Dave Rowe with his Pink Cadillac and AMG’s star act the Vanity Girls.

Dave said “the girls where great the car caught people’s attention and they did the rest” Dave and the girls collected over £200 driving through St Ives

Joes Dad who was organising the Hendra side of the event missed the Cadillac leaving so jumped in with a Terry from the Cornish guardian to catch them up. Matt said “we got to Perranporth and new we could not over take all 20 cars so when the traffic slowed I jumped out of Terry’s car and jumped in the car in front which had a lady on her own”

Sally Wilde who had driven from Exeter in her VW soft top beetle for the event was more than happy to help sally said “It was a bit of a surprise but turned into a lot of fun; I was amazed about Joe’s story and will be taking Joe’s banner to Egypt on a diving trip”

Sally and Matt collected £80 on the way which was very good as they where following the vanity girls…
